Digital Natives WebQuest

Project Description

This WebQuest is designed for students (pre-service teachers) in the Computers in Education course at Indiana University. It guides students to understand unique characteristics of the digital natives, come up with appropriate instructional strategies for their future classrooms, and create an animated movie using a text-to-movie tool called Xtranormal to present their ideas. 

The WebQuest is now being used in a similar course ar several universities. 

 

My Role & Responsibilities 

As an associate instructor for the course, Using Computers in Education, I designed and developed this WebQuest for students to 1) to be exposed to an exemplary WebQuest for their future reference, and 2) to learn about the topic, digital natives in a project-based learning environment.
