How to Conduct a Usability Test

Project Description

​This project was undertaken as a class team project for the Instructional Development and Production Process course. The purpose of the project was to create a web-based instruction on how to conduct a usability test. This website provides a description, guiding principles, steps of a usability test, and practices and has been used in the IST Early Research Experience course to help graduate students to conduct a usability test. 

 

My Role & Responsibilities 

As a team member, I was in charge of designing the web CSS template, creating and editing some of the instructional videos, and writing the guiding principles of usability tests.

- Web design skills (Photoshop, CSS, Dreamweaver)

- Video production and editing skills (Adobe Premier)

- Ability to create an instruction by practicing the ADDIE process

- Ability to conduct a usability test
