What TIMSS Tells Us about Instructional Practice
Project Description
This national study utilized U.S. 8th grade mathematics assessment results from the 2007 Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). I examined what instructional strategies have been utilized to teach mathematics to 8th grade students in the U.S. and their effects on student academic achievement.
My Role & Responsibilities
As a sole author, I conducted literature review, designed the research, selected and analyzed a large-scale dataset, and write-up the report.
