iPad Application Design for Supporting PBL

Project Description

This iPad application design was created for the Mobile Applications for Disciplined Inquiry (MADI) project submitted to the National Science Foundation, although unsuccessful. This iPad application was designed to support problem-based learning in socio-scientific inquiry and had four functions: 1) resource viewer, 2) argument builder/viewer 3) libraries, and 4) progress checker.

My Role & Responsibilities

As a research assistant to the lead researcher, I participated in the entire grant proposal writing process. More specifically, I designed classLibrary and myLibrary of the application. My design was selected as a design template for the entire application. I also led a team and wrote a part of the grant proposal on challenges of socio-scientific inquiry.
